Campers will need to bring a healthy lunch and healthy snacks every day. Due to the active nature of Riverview camps, we find most children need both a morning and afternoon snack — please pack accordingly. We encourage a healthy lunch that your kids will enjoy, so that their energy is high and their attitude positive. Here are some suggestions:
GOOD to bring:
• Healthy sandwich
• Fruit – apples, oranges, grapes, bananas
• Veggies – carrots, celery sticks, cucumbers
• Non-carbonated drinks – juice, water, lemonade
• Granola bars, trail mix, nuts, raisins
• Other desired light, energetic food
AVOID bringing:
• Candy, sweets, or sugary foods
• Soda
• Food that spoils if not refrigerated
• Heavy foods that deter from good exercise
• Glass items or breakables
