9 teams and 190 kickers made the 2015 Kick-a-thon a huge success!
The 8th annual Kick For Kids raised $50,000 to continue to support Maine kids!
The Ocean Gateway was bursting with kicking, laughing, and crafting at the 8th annual Kick for Kids with 190 kickers and 9 different kicking teams.
Kick for Kids is Riverview’s annual campaign fundraising event, allowing 100s of Maine kids to gain access to after school programs, summer camps, and community service events. In 2015 over $25,000 in financial assistance was awarded to youth, and with this years combined kicker and sponsor contributions totally over $50,000, we’re delighted to be able to continue this support in 2016!
Event guests included a special visit from Santa Claus and the green team from Garbage to Gardens. This even had only 2 trash bags of waste and the rest was recycled or composted! The 2015 event gave the first ever Teen Who Cares award to 3 teens who have volunteered during summer camp, vacation camps and kids classes. Congratulations to Joseph C., Zach B., and Ian S!
Our deepest gratitude and thanks to our event sponsors! Thank you for helping us continue to help others!
